The Northern Ohio Bibliophilic Society announces

the Cleveland Antiquarian Book and Paper Show

Sunday, October 20, 2013, 10am—5pm

For the third year running, the Cleveland Antiquarian Book and Paper Show will return to the Cleveland Skating Club (2500 Kemper Road, Shaker Heights, Ohio 44120) on Sunday, October 20, from 10am to 5pm. A wide variety of dealers in old, used, and rare books and paper collectibles will set up booths for the one-day event. It's like a paper museum where everything is for sale! And you don't have to be a "collector" to take part.

From books centuries old, bound in leather or vellum, to modern gems already out-of-print, the Cleveland Antiquarian Book and Paper Show offers a wide variety.  Dealers may specialize in modern first editions of literature, military history, Ohioana, children’s and illustrated books, postcards and ephemera, or beautiful leather-bound sets. There’s a little something for everyone.

“We displayed our books at the last two Cleveland book fairs. It’s always a good time talking with buyers in such a nice setting. Sales were good and we’re looking forward to our third time this year!” Andrea Klein, The Bookseller, Inc., Akron

“We were so delighted to attend last year's Cleveland Antiquarian Book Show at the Cleveland Skating Club.  The venue is pure class, and the display booths were laid out with plenty of elbow room.  There's a wide selection of collector's items in all price ranges.  We found wonderful vintage treasures that didn't break our bank.  Best of all, the booksellers were friendly and knowledgeable.  We'll be back this year - it's a great opportunity to meet and mingle with book people!” Patrick Graf and Peter Schindler, customers

Guests of the NOBS Antiquarian Book Fair may also bring along up to three books of their own for a free evaluation a la Antiques Road Show.  And join us in celebrating Octavofest, the annual month-long celebration of all things in the book world.   Keep reading!
