Loganberry's 10th Anniversary
Saturday, November 19, 5-10pm
Ten years is a long time in the world of independent booksellers.  Loganberry Books has been celebrating its tenth anninversary all year, and now it's time for a party.  There will be 10% off on books all day, with a big party beginning at 5pm.  The party coincides with the owner's cat's tenth birthday, and, so Hedda gets a birthday party too.  Prizes and give-aways, plus food and drink featured.

Larchmere Holiday Stroll
Friday-Sunday, November 25-27, 10am-6pm
The annual Thanksgiving weekend shopping spree continues on Larchmere, now in its third decade.  Look for a horse and buggy giving free rides, hot milled cider, live music, holiday decor and special holiday sales throughout the street.  If you're seeking something original and unique for this year's gift giving, be sure to make Larchmere a shopping destination.  Books, crafts, antiques and vintage kitsch make great gifts.

Dunham Tavern Antiques Show
Saturday, November 26, 9am-6pm
Sunday, November 27, 11am-4pm
The best, and longest-running, antiques show in town.  Come find fabulous furniture, china, glass, silver, quilts, jewelery, prints, and, yes, even some books.  Join us at the Shaker Heights Bryon Middle School at Shaker Blvd. and Warrensville Center Road.

Girlfriends Literary Society (a book club meeting)
Charlotte by Kathryn Shevelow
Thursday, November 10, 7pm

Annex Gallery
Dede Moore's Flying Carpets
Opening Reception: Friday, November 4, 6-8pm
Exhibition:  November 4-28
Our first event in November goes back to Loganberry's first beginnings, with rug merchant Dede Moore.  Dede retired in 2001, but that doesn't mean she stopped travelling and collecting.  In fact, she has more time to travel, more stories to share, and some fabulous decorative objects.  There will be rugs of course, and kilims, textiles, ethnic clothing and jewelery, pillows, and other interesting stuff.  Come see her latest finds in the Annex Gallery all this month, and visit her during the Opening Reception to hear some stories, talk rugs, and celebrate 20+ years of Dede's dealings in woven art.

I hope to see you browsing at Loganberry soon!

peace,
Harriett
