**  End-of-Summer Sidewalk Sale on Larchmere Boulevard  **

Saturday, September 5, 10 AM – 5 PM

~ Labor Day weekend ~

Discover Larchmere Boulevard, an indie merchants mecca with over 40 shops, galleries, eateries and services featuring art, antiques, books, china, gifts, jewelry, oriental rugs, wearable art, beauty salons and more. Join us for our bi-annual sidewalk sale, with seasonal bargains, outdoor shopping, extra street vendors and food trucks. It’s the old-school main street real deal.

A sampling of the merchant specials include:

·         20% off all books at Loganberry Books plus a 50% clearance table on the sidewalk

·         A free soda tasting at Tastee Treats, while supplies last

·         Mani/Pedi specials at A Touch of Rain ($27 regular, $35 gel)

·         Complementary tea, free yoga advice, and a quiet meditation space at Abide Yoga

·         Half off on all summer clothing at Eclectic Eccentric

·         Nail trim specials for your pooch for $8 at Groovy Grooming

·         25% off summer apparel and a 50% clearance sale at Grow Outs

After the sales, join us for a community gathering at the Sedlak lot (Larchmere and E. 127th St) at 5:00PM.  An Interactive Mural painting will take place with artist Sky Davidson.  Sky’s mural design has a background pattern already prepared so residents, friends and customers can pick up a paintbrush and add to the festive design.

An Open Soapbox will be in session featuring spoken word artists, garden clubs, block clubs, local schools and community groups to discuss their current activities.  Learn and share the news about upcoming community projects!  We’ll also be serving up hot dogs on the grill and selling drinks to benefit LMA (thanks, Shaker Quality Auto Body and The Dancing Sheep!).  This community mixer is sponsored in part by Saint Luke’s Foundation.  Join the fun, join the conversation!
