**  Larchmere Holiday Stroll  **

Friday, November 29, 10am--5pm
Saturday, November 30, 10am--5pm

The annual Larchmere Holiday Stroll is now in its third decade, and still going strong.  As the decades pass, the tenants on the street come and go, but one thing has remained constant:  Larchmere is entirely comprised of locally-owned businesses.  The moms-and-pops here take great pride in the new and vintage goods and services they offer, and this kick-off to the holiday shopping season is our love letter to the city of Cleveland.  Bring your out-of-town guests for a real slice of homegrown Cleveland.

The annual Larchmere Holiday Stroll will take place on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, 2013, from 10 AM – 5 PM, and will feature live entertainment, horse and buggy rides, snacks, and festive holiday cheer at every locally-owned business up and down the Boulevard.  Shop local for the holidays!

This year’s highlights include:

·         Local indie craft show Cleveland Bazaar (formerly called Bazaar Bizarre) features dozens of indie artists hawking their original handmade wares, will be held again at 12916 Larchmere, at the location of Shaker Quality Auto Body.

·         Celebrate in nostalgic fashion with popular horse and buggy rides, Friday, 12 – 4 PM.

·         New and festive holiday tree lights and window painting along Larchmere Boulevard, hooray!

·         Live Music!

·         Many stores will be open until 8 PM, and some will be open on Sunday as well.  Consult the Larchmere website,,  for a full listing of Sunday hours and special treats merchants have planned (updated continuously).

·         and at Loganberry Books (13015 Larchmere Boulevard, 216-795-9800):

o   Who better to recommend a book than a writer of books?  Join us for a national initiative called Indies First, featuring authors as booksellers, just to spread the love of literature (see Sherman Alexie’s call to action).  At Loganberry, we have confirmed local authors Megan Whalen Turner, Mary Doria Russell, Sarah Willis, Susan Petrone, Sam Thomas, Mara Purnhagen, and Jen Dutton.  So far.  Author list and times subject to change, as confirmations are still coming in, but we’ll post what we know at

o   Otis' Old Curiosity Shop,  Loganberry Books’ annual holiday bazaar, features a mix of local art, fair trade crafts, educational toys, tchotchkes, greeting cards, and vintage curios.  It’s an old-fashioned treasure trove.
