Author Alley and Larchmere Festival: July 6, 2019

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - June 20, 2019 - The Larchmere Festival is held annually on the first Saturday in July in Cleveland's historic Larchmere district. Sponsored by the Larchmere Merchants Association, this year's Festival will celebrate the color yellow and all its joyful associations: sunshine, optimism, lemonade, popcorn, rubber duckies, sunflowers and more.

Held from 10am-5pm, the event offers an eclectic range of creative activities and vendors. This year's highlights include glassblowing, an interactive scavenger hunt, balloon artists, the Chess Challenge, Goat Yoga, local DJs and food vendors, and a plethora of craft, antique, vintage and recycled items for sale.

During the Festival, Loganberry Books will host the 12th Author Alley, Cleveland's largest annual gathering of local authors, held 12pm-4pm on July 6. This free event is a unique chance for booklovers to discover new books by local talent and meet dozens of local authors in person. Guests this year will include Mindy McGinnis, Megan Whalen Turner, Susan Petrone, David Molyneaux, and many more, from self-published entrepreneurs to international bestsellers.
