Otis’ pop-up shop continues our winter tradition of holiday happiness with art, tchotchkes, toys, fair trade crafts, and nostalgic gems in the mix.  The shop is open mid-November until after Christmas.  On the first Wednesday of December, we welcome the artists who are participating in this year’s holiday shop with a special reception.  Join us for our annual Open House, with refreshments and friends.  This year’s artists include: A.D. Adams, Mac Dalton, Ann Douglas, Amy Fishbach, Natalie Isvarin-Love, Mary Jurs, Jean Lederer, William Mahon, Donna Marchetti, Jessica Mirgolotta, Kathy Conway Murray, and Gerry Shamray.  Their work represents carved wood, knits, dyed silk, paper, books, jewelry, caricatures, drawing, and copper and glass ornaments.  Good stuff!

Staff Picks LIVE, with friends

Wednesday, December 10, 7-9PM

~ Endpapers: second Wednesdays ~

What should you read next?  What’s a good gift for Uncle Billy and little Frieda?  So glad you asked.  We are presenting, in live presentation style, our favorites.  It’s kind of like a networking or speed dating event, where each person has a maximum of 5 minutes to tell you about their favorite books.  Most of these are recent publications, but not exclusively.  Who are these adjudicators of taste?  Well, the professional staff of Loganberry Books (including Harriett Logan, Sarah Willis, Ami Bray, Emily Austin-Rose, Sonora Miller, Rebecca Knab, Rachel Dinga and Brenda Logan) as well as some invited guests (including Karen Long, Michael Ruhlman, Mary Doria Russell and Sarah Gridley).  It’ll be about an hour of impassioned treaties from readers as diverse as the people on your gift list.  It might even be a bit amusing, come see.

Thanks for reading.  Thanks for keeping Loganberry around for two decades, I really appreciate it.

Peace,

Harriett
